In addition to serving as Managing Broker and Designated Realtor while in-house counsel for real estate firms, Frank also served as a member on the Illinois Association of Realtors License Law Re-Write Committees in 1999 and 2009, the Illinois Association of Realtors (IAR) Governors task force on Agency and served on IAR'S Broker-Lawyer Liaison Committee, Business Issues/License Law Working Group, Finance Committee, Executive Committee and Public Policy & Governmental Affairs Member Involvement Group.
Frank B. May, Jr., is former in-house corporate General Counsel and Senior Vice President for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, NRT, Inc. Chicago, The Prudential Preferred Properties and Coldwell Banker Primus Realty. Frank is presently outside corporate General Counsel for Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (MRED), multiple listing service. Frank also serves as outside corporate General Counsel to several Illinois real estate brokerage franchise firms including Coldwell Banker, Realty Executives and Weichert Realtors, as well as represents many individual sales associates, broker's and single office real estate brokerage firms as their personal attorney and counsel in corporate, real estate, and real estate related and contract matters, as well as in litigation and other matters such as defending complaints brought against them by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
Frank's corporate and real estate related legal representation includes consumer claims and litigation defense, IDFPR complaint defense, contract and business litigation prosecution and defense, commission claim prosecution and defense, Realtor arbitration and ethics matters, real estate license law compliance issues with IDFPR, agency and dual agency issues, forms, contracts and company policy and procedures manual creation and compliance, other corporate matters and issues, corporate franchise contract issues, company office leases, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and walk-overs.

Frank, his wife, Mary, and sons, David and Brian, reside in Wheaton, Illinois.
